Introduction
Interviewing isn’t easy, but every hiring manager worth their salt wants to give every candidate the same experience. That's a fair shot at securing the role. Before you begin, here's a couple of questions to ask yourself.
Process
Have I used the same process with all of my candidates? Have I used the scorecard (provided in this template) to fairly evaluate skills/competencies relevant to the role?
Questions
Have I avoided questions that could lead to discrimination? E.g questions on age, marital status, religion and disability?
Behaviour
Have I acted with unconscious bias? Have I given all candidates a fair assessment regardless of their diversity & inclusion data?
